Norse Point is the Ultimate Honeymoon Hideaway. It is a secluded 1-bedroom villa situated on the Waters’ Edge of most magnificent ocean bay that we are aware of on the planet (called San San Bay). The living room provides sleeping accomodation and a powder room for two additional persons.
It combines crystal clear water, a magnificent ocean bay protected by a long coral reef and the famous "Monkey Island" (once given by the Baron von Thyssen as a wedding present to his wife, Nina, who later became Princess Aga Kahn), and true Coral Sand of the type that fables are written. "Monkey Island" (pictured in this web site) is untouched and is located directly opposite Norse Point and presents itself as your private island. San San’s crystal clear water and extensive coral reef provide a protected swimming/kayaking/snorkeling experience that is truly unique – and all this located in the lush tropical rainforest parish of Portand with the famous Blue Mountain Range as a backdrop (a magnificent tropical rainforest mountain range with 7,000’ mountain peaks, river rafting, waterfalls, walking trails, etc). To the left of Norse Point is San San Beach, a long, curved white sand beach – straight ahead is "Monkey Island" surrounded by magnificent coral reefs – to the right you can swim or kayak in calm waters past some of Jamaica’s most luxurious privately owned ocean-side homes a short distance before reaching the world famous Blue Lagoon (know by Jamaicans as Blue Hole).
San San Bay is about as far from “Miami Beach” as you can get. It is not a tourist Mecca. San San is an unblemished bay mostly owned by Jamaicans who treasure it as the most beautiful part of Jamaica (itself one of the planet’s most beautiful islands) and preserve it as their holiday location of choice. Many of these homes are not for rent, preserving the tranquility and local flavour of the area.
Nearby attractions include world famous Rio Grande rafting, surfing and jerk pork at Boston Bay, and the truly magnificent Reach Falls with large swimming pools fed by clean, clear ground water that literally comes out of the rocks of the Blue Mountains.
